Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Carvalho got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Jesus got free with Jorge Almeida in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Escadabouca's Jorge Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Brito in the 11th minute of play. When Júlio Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Regoufe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Jesus couldn't finish the play. After 17 minutes of play, Regoufe FC's Basílio Brito made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lourenço Pinheiro in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonçalo Jesus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Almeida was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Basílio Brito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Basílio Brito really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After a rather tough play, Regoufe FC's António Guarda got a free kick in the 38th minute. Gonçalo Jesus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lourenço Pinheiro's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute Carlos Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Almeida came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Regoufe FC's Júlio Jesus. But to his dismay, Júlio Jesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Regoufe FC booed when SC Escadabouca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Júlio Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Regoufe FC fans jumped to their feet.
