Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Carril's Cláudio Amaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Vieira in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Gaspar Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alexandre Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Espinca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Leiria couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Espinca FC's Alexandre Leiria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Vieira in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Rodrigues saved SC Carril from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Cláudio Amaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusébio Setúbal charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Setúbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Espinca FC's Eusébio Setúbal got a free kick in the 20th minute. 27 minutes in the game, Gaspar Vieira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without José Rodrigues having to interfere. José Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaspar Vieira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Rodrigues. That made the score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. Alexandre Leiria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but José Rodrigues made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 55 played minutes Espinca FC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Cunha. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, António Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Carril's supporters rose to their feet, but António Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Amaro in the 60th minute of the match. Espinca FC's Gaspar Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Campos's late challenge caught a Espinca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Campos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, SC Carril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Campos to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. José Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Carril's António Lima got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Carril's zone, Alexandre Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Rodrigues came out of the goal and Alexandre Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Espinca FC's Gaspar Vieira got a free kick in the 71st minute. José Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Leiria in the 74th minute of play. Nuno Vaz's late challenge caught a Espinca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. Nuno Vaz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Vasco Lisboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Espinca FC's Alexandre Leiria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Rodrigues narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Amaro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Paulo Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Carril. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Espinca FC had won after a very even match.
