Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaspar Vieira got the match started through his kick off. Paulo Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fernando Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Piscouxe's Fernando Anjos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Vieira in the 13th minute of play. Fernando Anjos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Leiria in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Amílcar Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Piscouxe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espinca FC the free kick. The supporters of Espinca FC booed when SC Piscouxe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SC Piscouxe's Fernando Anjos got control of the ball when Alexandre Leiria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Carneiro went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gaspar Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, SC Piscouxe's goalkeeper Fernando Anjos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Leiria. SC Piscouxe's Amílcar Machado got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Amílcar Machado off the ground. The supporters of Espinca FC booed when SC Piscouxe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Carneiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacinto Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Leiria struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Fernando Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espinca FC. After the first half SC Piscouxe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Aguiar was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Leiria in the 53rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Eusébio Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 minutes of play, Espinca FC's Gaspar Vieira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Anjos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Anjos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Leiria in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Piscouxe's zone, Gaspar Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Anjos came out of the goal and Gaspar Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexandre Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jacinto Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the SC Piscouxe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Leiria struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Fernando Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espinca FC.
