Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Gil Soares fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alhoes FC's protests and gave Gil Soares a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alhoes FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gil Soares hit a great ball. Bruno Domingues was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Viriato Borges struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sandro Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alhoes FC. Sandro Amaral's late challenge caught a Alhoes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. Sandro Amaral hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Mosqueiro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaspar Costa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Ramos made a kick off. Manuel Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. The supporters of Alhoes FC booed when Mosqueiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alexandre Machado came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Alhoes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Machado couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mosqueiro FC's Francisco Nogueira got a free kick in the 66th minute.
