Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gil Teixeira got the match started through his kick off. Gabriel Gueifão took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Brás. Joaquim Brás dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th match minute, SC Varzielas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Guarda to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Marques got free with Afonso Cruz in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in SC Varzielas's zone, Gabriel Gueifão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Brás came out of the goal and Gabriel Gueifão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Lúcio Ramos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Afonso Cruz. The goal made the score 1-1. When Gil Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SC Comaros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Teixeira couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Gabriel Gueifão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to SC Comaros getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gaspar Lisboa hit a great ball. When Fábio Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Varzielas's protests and gave Fábio Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SC Varzielas getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Fábio Abreu hit a great ball. Gabriel Gueifão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Brás having to interfere. When Gil Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the SC Comaros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Teixeira couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lúcio Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Comaros booed when SC Varzielas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Guarda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th match minute, SC Varzielas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Miranda to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, Emanuel Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Comaros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Ramos in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Humberto Guarda's late challenge caught a SC Comaros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Guarda helped the player get up and apologised. Humberto Guarda hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Gaspar Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes of play, SC Varzielas's Rui Marques made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, SC Varzielas's Joaquim Brás got control of the ball when Gabriel Gueifão tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 94th minute of the match Cristóvão Guarda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cristóvão Guarda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, SC Varzielas could leave the field as winners, despite SC Comaros having more of the ball for most of the match.
