Augusto Delgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Machado during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SC Barracha booed when SC Andorinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Gonçalves in the 17th minute of the match. Nuno Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, SC Andorinho's Afonso Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Gonçalves spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SC Barracha's goal. SC Andorinho's Emanuel Viegas got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Marques took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Carvalho. David Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ricardo Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Luís Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Emanuel Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Ferreira having to interfere. Augusto Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Barracha's zone, Afonso Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Ferreira came out of the goal and Afonso Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When SC Andorinho's Afonso Gonçalves in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Barracha's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Delgado made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Andorinho's goalkeeper David Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Augusto Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute Nuno Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Carvalho having to interfere. Augusto Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ricardo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Augusto Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Fernandes's late challenge caught a SC Andorinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Barracha's Hélder Fernandes got a free kick in the 71st minute. Augusto Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 80th minute of the match Ricardo Machado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ricardo Machado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 80th match minute, SC Andorinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Machado to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Viegas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Ferreira having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Emanuel Viegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SC Andorinho booed when SC Barracha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emanuel Viegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Emanuel Viegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Andorinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Viegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
