The supporters of Pomarao booed when Ancas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrique Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Hélder Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Mota having to interfere. A collision led to Ancas getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Viriato Vieira hit a great ball. Henrique Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hélder Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Mota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Monteiro in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pomarao's Francisco Assis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hélder Mota. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. If Francisco Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Eduardo Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pomarao's zone, Luís Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Barbosa came out of the goal and Luís Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Cunha went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. André Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alfredo Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álvaro Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Cunha in the 55th minute of play. Henrique Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hélder Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Ancas got a freekick which was hit by João Domingues. In the 62nd minute Francisco Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match Bernardo Viegas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes Pomarao got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Viana. After having played for 81 minutes, Filipe Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pomarao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Francisco Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Ancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Correia to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Ancas's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Monteiro came free, but Hélder Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pomarao were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ancas to leave the ground with a draw.
