Alexandre Paredes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Dantas's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Cândido Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Paredes having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Azevedo during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gondiais's José Azevedo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Alexandre Monteiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rogério Gaspar. Tomás Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Almeida hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Alexandre Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Óscar Moura's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When Cândido Guarda fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gondiais's protests and gave Cândido Guarda a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gondiais's Cândido Guarda got a free kick in the 21st minute. Alexandre Monteiro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Cândido Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gondiais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cândido Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Toubres's goalkeeper Alexandre Paredes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Joaquim Dantas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Toubres's Alexandre Paredes. Alexandre Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexandre Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Moura in the 39th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gondiais defense, Tomás Domingues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre Monteiro. The Gondiais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre Monteiro should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Óscar Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Joaquim Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gondiais's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Dantas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Guarda in the 57th minute of play forced SC Toubres's goalkeeper Alexandre Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Óscar Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Gondiais getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Emílio Borba hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, SC Toubres's Rogério Gaspar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bruno Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Óscar Moura struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alexandre Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Toubres. Joaquim Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Joaquim Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Borba charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Borba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Borba hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Filipe Amaro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Gondiais's Joaquim Dias tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gondiais players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Toubres.
