Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lourenço Sousa started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Paiva in the 4th minute of play forced Arouca's goalkeeper Hugo Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Nascimento made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Rui Pereira sent off a good shot on target. Henrique Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Teixeira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Lourenço Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Nunes having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Crujeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Antunes came free, but José Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Crujeira FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Armindo Matos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Sousa in the 15th minute of play forced Crujeira FC's goalkeeper José Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Henrique Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Arouca's goal looked a bit too open when André Paiva came free, but Hugo Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Crujeira FC's André Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Rui Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Paiva was the one to do the kick off. Rui Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Nascimento having to interfere. Hugo Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, André Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crujeira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Paiva struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Hugo Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crujeira FC. Hugo Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arouca's goalkeeper Hugo Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Crujeira FC's José Nunes got control of the ball when Henrique Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Adolfo Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Hugo Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lourenço Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Nunes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Lourenço Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arouca's supporters rose to their feet, but Lourenço Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Crujeira FC's goalkeeper José Nunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrique Antunes. In the 97th minute, André Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crujeira FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Crujeira FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arouca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
