Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Humberto Melo kicked off to start the match. Beiroz FC's Afonso Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Vale in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Tomás Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beiroz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Humberto Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 11 minutes, Rogério Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beiroz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beiroz FC's Humberto Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Pacheco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Marco Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beiroz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montinho the free kick. The supporters of Montinho booed when Beiroz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Vale in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Sérgio Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Figueiredo in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Montinho booed when Beiroz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Sousa having to interfere. A collision led to Montinho getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sebastião Branco hit a great ball. Beiroz FC's Humberto Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Humberto Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Sousa having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Vicente Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beiroz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montinho the free kick. Vicente Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When Manuel Vale fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montinho's protests and gave Manuel Vale a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Beiroz FC booed when Montinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Carlos Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Eusébio Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Pacheco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Vale in the 66th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Montinho:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Beiroz FC:s goal. 71 minutes into the game, Beiroz FC's Nuno Matias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 81st minute, Humberto Melo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beiroz FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Eusébio Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Pacheco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusébio Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Humberto Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Carlos Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Humberto Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Pacheco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1.
