David Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. David Ferro hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Dias in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Magalhães saved Brinches FC from getting behind. Tomás Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Magalhães having to make a save. In the 20th match minute, Brinches FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Ferro to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Nuno Matias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Magalhães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sérgio Coelho hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Beiroz FC's Afonso Pacheco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Reis in the 27th minute of play. Rogério Faro hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Beiroz FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eduardo Paredes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Beiroz FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joel Amaro 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Joel Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Humberto Melo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Beiroz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Melo couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Melo made a kick off. If Joel Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Brinches FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Brinches FC's Joel Amaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joel Amaro took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Pacheco. Afonso Pacheco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Eduardo Paredes might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Pacheco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Paredes ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Morais hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Maia in the 86th minute of play forced Beiroz FC's goalkeeper Afonso Pacheco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. David Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
