Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Amaro got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Montinho getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Augusto Cardoso hit a great ball. Manuel Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but David Magalhães made a huge save. David Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Figueiredo in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Montinho's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Paredes came free, but Carlos Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Vale in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd minute, Manuel Vale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Magalhães. The goal made the score 1-0. Brinches FC's David Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Brinches FC from getting a goal against them. Eusébio Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of David Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Montinho's Manuel Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Amaro in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Joel Amaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montinho's Carlos Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Montinho's Joel Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Figueiredo to strike the kick off in the second half. Brinches FC's David Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Figueiredo in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Brinches FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. David Ferro hit a great ball. David Magalhães came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Montinho's Eusébio Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Eusébio Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Manuel Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. David Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Joel Amaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brinches FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Amaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Montinho's Carlos Sousa got control of the ball when Eduardo Paredes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Montinho's Carlos Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Montinho from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Brinches FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Vale came free, but David Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eduardo Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Montinho's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Amaro came free, but Carlos Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Magalhães having to interfere. The referee gave Montinho a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amílcar Henriques, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brinches FC's David Magalhães. 3-0. Montinho's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
