Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sérgio Martins started the match with the kick off. SC Folgados's Francisco Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Resende in the 3rd minute of play. António Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Humberto Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Folgados getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vítor Gaspar hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Vítor Gaspar made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Cruz. Paco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When SC Folgados's Sérgio Martins in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paco's goalie prevented a goal. If Luís Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Folgados's António Leiria got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sérgio Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Folgados's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Humberto Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diogo Resende to strike the kick off in the second half. António Anjos kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Luís Simões could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Francisco Mota however easily saved by the left post. Humberto Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Leiria in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Paco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Martins to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Martins struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Humberto Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Folgados. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Martins in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Cruz saved Paco from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Luís Simões dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Mota, 1-2. Sérgio Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, SC Folgados's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Resende came free, but Francisco Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paco's Humberto Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Gaspar in the 72nd minute of play. Paco were furious when Albertino Domingues was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of SC Folgados booed when Paco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Adolfo Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Adolfo Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Luís Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Simões was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bento Santos struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Francisco Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paco. 83 minutes into the game, SC Folgados's António Leiria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Bento Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th match minute, SC Folgados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Marques to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes of play, Paco's Luís Simões made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
