In the 2nd match minute, SC Sapiaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Brito struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. José Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Feixe. Tiago Brito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of José Barbosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Lucas Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Sapiaos's protests and gave Lucas Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. Lucas Moreira hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. SC Sapiaos's José Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SC Sapiaos from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Inácio Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, SC Sapiaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Neves to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, SC Feixe's João Sousa tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, SC Feixe's Inácio Mota sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Tiago Brito came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the SC Feixe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Brito couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Jorge Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Brito struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. José Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Feixe. José Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Mota in the 34th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, SC Feixe's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Cabral came free, but Jorge Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Barbosa having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Cabral made a kick off. Jorge Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Mendes in the 58th minute. In the 66th minute, João Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the game, Vasco Moutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Sapiaos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Feixe the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Sapiaos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for SC Feixe. João Sousa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving José Barbosa. 1-0. After a rather tough play, SC Feixe's João Gonçalves got a free kick in the 76th minute. Tiago Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 minutes of play, SC Feixe's Inácio Mota made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! José Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Feixe had played much better football throughout.
