Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Enfermaria's Rui Lisboa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Enfermaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Valente to maneuver through the defense. José Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Joaquim Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enfermaria's José Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Machado in the 9th minute of play. Sandro Rochas short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Rui Viana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Rui Lisboa came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Enfermaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Lisboa couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Tomás Ferro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Tomás Ferro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garrobo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enfermaria the free kick. The supporters of Enfermaria booed when Garrobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Campos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Joaquim Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Gueifão having to make a save. Enfermaria's José Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Machado in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joaquim Machado made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Machado in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Gueifão saved Enfermaria from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Enfermaria's João Vale got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Joaquim Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. José Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 minutes of play, Enfermaria's João Vale made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sandro Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rui Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Fontes hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Carlos Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Enfermaria booed when Garrobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Viana having to interfere. In the 91st minute Sandro Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Campos's late challenge caught a Garrobo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Campos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Garrobo booed when Enfermaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
