After 4 played minutes Mosqueiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Sousa. Vítor Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Emanuel Trindade's late challenge caught a Chozendo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Trindade helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Mosqueiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Trindade to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Teixeira was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When Américo Alves fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mosqueiro FC's protests and gave Américo Alves a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chozendo booed when Mosqueiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, André Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Luz, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Chozendo's Vítor Santarém slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Teixeira. That made the score 0-1 after 55 minutes of play. Cristiano Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Chozendo got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Aguiar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Trindade in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Henriques saved Chozendo from getting behind. Emanuel Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heitor Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaspar Henriques having to make a save. Ricardo Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Mosqueiro FC's Cristiano Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Trindade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
