Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Heitor Valente kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, SC Sanceriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Assis to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arribao's Manuel Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Miguel Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th of the match, Heitor Valente tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Manuel Gueifão got in the way and made a wonderful save. José Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Machado in the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 minutes, Afonso Setúbal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Sanceriz and the Arribao players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes SC Sanceriz got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Setúbal. Armando Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Miguel Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, SC Sanceriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Martins to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Arribao booed when SC Sanceriz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Manuel Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Sanceriz's José Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Hélder Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Rodrigues was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Arribao's goalkeeper Manuel Gueifão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Martins. José Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Vaz in the 43rd minute of the match. José Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Sanceriz's Inácio Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Arribao were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Manuel Vaz made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Rodrigues having to interfere. Manuel Vaz struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. José Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arribao. Inácio Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Gueifão having to interfere. If Inácio Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Sanceriz's zone, Hélder Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Rodrigues came out of the goal and Hélder Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Manuel Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arribao's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélder Machado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of José Rodrigues when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg José Rodrigues managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Arribao's Hélder Machado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Heitor Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Gueifão having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Manuel Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arribao's Hélder Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Arribao had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
