Manuel Gueifão came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Boco's Nuno Baptista. But to his dismay, Nuno Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Hélder Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Miguel Santarém fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arribao's protests and gave Miguel Santarém a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Arribao got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Santarém. In the 22ndth minute of the game Paulo Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arribao's Manuel Gueifão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélder Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gil Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arribao's Manuel Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Guerreiro in the 29th minute of play. SC Boco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Hélder Machado scored to the left of an out of position Gil Moreira, making the score, 1-1. Cristiano Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes, SC Boco's Alexandre Domingues shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Gueifão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Boco reached it. In the 41st minute, Arribao's Cristiano Bessa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gil Moreira. Gil Moreira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Manuel Gueifão came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Boco's Paulo Guerreiro. But to his dismay, Paulo Guerreiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Guerreiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Manuel Gueifão was a little too slow when Paulo Guerreiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 2-3. Manuel Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Moreira having to interfere. Paulo Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Manuel Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Guerreiro in the 63rd minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Vasco Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Boco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
