Heitor Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Leal having to interfere. Raul Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vilarinho's Miguel Abreu got a free kick in the 8th minute. Filipe Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário Magalhães hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Filipe Branco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Leal having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Azevedo in the 17th minute of play forced Vilarinho's goalkeeper Filipe Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mouraz FC's Filipe Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filipe Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Leal came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Mouraz FC's Filipe Branco. But to his dismay, Filipe Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Miguel Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
When Raul Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Vilarinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Assunção couldn't finish the play. Luís Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Leal having to interfere. Vilarinho's Filipe Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Vilarinho from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Raul Assunção's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mário Aleixo was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Luís Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Filipe Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Miguel Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Mouraz FC's Bruno Gueifão got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Manuel Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mouraz FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Manuel Moura hit a great ball. When Miguel Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Vilarinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Abreu couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mouraz FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
