In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canaviais FC's goalkeeper Diogo Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Canaviais FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Ramos. If Afonso Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Guerreiro in the 21st minute of play. Afonso Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Afonso Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pamarao FC's Jaime Leal got a free kick in the 35th minute. Pamarao FC's Gaspar Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Guerreiro in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Canaviais FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gabriel Ramos hit a great ball. Raul Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Diogo Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogo Guerreiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Afonso Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaspar Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Guerreiro in the 66th minute of play forced Pamarao FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Raul Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Neves having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Cristiano Borba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diogo Neves. Canaviais FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Borba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 80th minute, Raul Pedroso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diogo Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Moura struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gaspar Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canaviais FC. Raul Pedroso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Pamarao FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sandro Ramos hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Canaviais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Pedroso came free, but Diogo Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pamarao FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Canaviais FC had controlled the match.
