Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lourenço Bessa made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Lourenço Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match José Andrade shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Rocha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. SC Vido's André Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Bessa in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes SC Vido got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Figueiredo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Amorim in the 15th minute of play forced Medancelhe's goalkeeper Manuel Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Amorim in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Rocha saved Medancelhe from getting behind. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sérgio Ferro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Vido's André Campos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vido's zone, Manuel Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Campos came out of the goal and Manuel Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, SC Vido's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Bessa came free, but André Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lourenço Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rui Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Rocha was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34thth minute of the game Rui Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medancelhe's Manuel Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Inácio Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Manuel Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, one of Medancelhe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Medancelhe. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for SC Vido. Jorge Pereira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Rocha. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Bessa in the 45th minute of play forced SC Vido's goalkeeper André Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Manuel Aleixo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Campos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Fernandes to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Lourenço Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, SC Vido's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Bessa came free, but André Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Amorim made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 60thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Manuel Rocha would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 62 minutes into the match, Manuel Aleixo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Campos. SC Vido's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Aleixo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 72 minutes of play, SC Vido's Inácio Amorim made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Medancelhe's Manuel Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Medancelhe from getting a goal against them. When Ricardo Trindade fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medancelhe's protests and gave Ricardo Trindade a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Medancelhe's Ricardo Trindade got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Rui Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Rui Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lourenço Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Campos having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Lourenço Bessa notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of SC Vido's André Campos. André Campos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lourenço Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. André Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Manuel Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medancelhe's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
