Paulo Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Enxurreira FC's Tomás Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Neves in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Alferce FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lúcio Brás hit a great ball. Lúcio Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lúcio Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Luz having to interfere. Joel Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enxurreira FC's Tomás Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Neves in the 25th minute of play. José Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Paulo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alferce FC! The goalkeeper, Paulo Esteves, was totally fooled by Enxurreira FC's Joaquim Resende, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 32 minutes into the match, Alferce FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Tavares came free, but Paulo Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Neves went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Enxurreira FC booed when Alferce FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alferce FC's Paulo Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Alferce FC from getting a goal against them. Paulo Esteves came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Enxurreira FC's Joaquim Anjos. But to his dismay, Joaquim Anjos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when José Tavares made the kick off in the second half. José Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lúcio Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Luz having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Enxurreira FC's goalkeeper Tomás Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Brás. Lúcio Brás could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Tomás Luz made a huge save. After some careless play in the Alferce FC defense, Joaquim Anjos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Esteves. The Alferce FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Esteves should have stopped the shot. Óscar Matias's late challenge caught a Enxurreira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Óscar Matias helped the player get up and apologised. Óscar Matias hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes in the game, Lúcio Brás fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tomás Luz having to interfere. Joel Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Tomás Luz made a huge save. In the 74thth minute of the game José Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alferce FC's Paulo Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Joel Neves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomás Luz, 4-2. In the 82nd match minute, Alferce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Paulo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cândido Moniz during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alferce FC's Cândido Moniz got a free kick in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Neves in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Brito during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Enxurreira FC's Vicente Brito got a free kick in the 96th minute.
