Rumorinho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Manuel Miranda struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Francisco Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sambro. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diamantino Alves to make the kick off. Diamantino Alves took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Pinho. Sambro were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
