Adelino Nascimento came out of the goal and Ricardo Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Ricardo Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Massorvia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Daniel Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Morais succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Armando Leal made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Jorge Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Leal having to interfere. Massorvia FC's Armando Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Resende in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Massorvia FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Soares was slow to take the kick. During this time Carnapata FC's players had a chance to rest. Domingos Bessa thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Armando Leal, a very annoying self made goal in the 68th minute which led to 1-2. The Carnapata FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Carnapata FC's Jorge Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ricardo Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Carnapata FC's Daniel Soares got a free kick in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Esteves during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carnapata FC's Adelino Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Carnapata FC from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Jorge Resende made a precise shot to the right of Armando Leal. Massorvia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 92 minutes into the match, Carnapata FC's Jorge Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Massorvia FC defense, Carlos Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Leal. The Massorvia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Leal should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carnapata FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Massorvia FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
