But to his dismay, Rui Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alexandre Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. António Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Nunes went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Diamantino Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. António Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Diamantino Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coroinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Nunes to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Coroinha FC's Hugo Nogueira got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Francisco Ferro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calendario FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Ferro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Coroinha FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cristiano Lopes hit a great ball. When Diamantino Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coroinha FC's protests and gave Diamantino Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Diamantino Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Coroinha FC booed when Calendario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
