Nuno Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Torroal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Figueiredo came free, but Hugo Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, David Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastião Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Torroal FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cristóvão Rodrigues hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Machado made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Sebastião Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferragudo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Antunes's late challenge caught a Ferragudo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Carlos Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, David Jesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Garcia hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Nuno Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Jesus in the 64th minute of play.
