Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tiago Cabral kicked off to start the match. SC Gardete's Emanuel Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Faria in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to SC Gardete getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cristiano Pedroso hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gardete's zone, Cândido Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Oliveira came out of the goal and Cândido Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Américo Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Alvaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes SC Gardete got a freekick which was hit by Rui Porto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Américo Pinho in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Oliveira saved SC Gardete from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Tiago Cabral took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Basílio Machado to make any attempt to save it. Tiago Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Américo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Lúcio Bessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Machado having to interfere. Lúcio Bessa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Basílio Machado made a huge save. António Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Tiago Cabral succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cândido Faria to make the kick off. When Afonso Silva came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the SC Gardete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Silva couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gardete's zone, Américo Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Oliveira came out of the goal and Américo Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the game, SC Alvaro's Américo Pinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cândido Faria was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. SC Alvaro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When SC Alvaro's Cândido Faria in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Gardete's goalie prevented a goal. Cristóvão Torres charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Torres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basílio Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Bessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Américo Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Pinho in the 97th minute. Emanuel Oliveira was out of position in the 99 minute of play, and Cândido Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cândido Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SC Alvaro players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
