Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rabacos's Paulo Leão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Gustavo Guarda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 8 minutes into the match, Jorge Anjos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Assunção. Poiares FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Anjos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 10 minutes into the match, Rabacos's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Guarda came free, but Alexandre Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. José Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Assunção took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jorge Anjos came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Rabacos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Anjos couldn't finish the play. Rui Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Rabacos's goalkeeper Alexandre Pinheiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Guarda. After a defensive mix-up in Poiares FC's zone, Jorge Anjos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Assunção came out of the goal and Jorge Anjos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Leão in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Assunção prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandre Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Guarda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Alexandre Pinheiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Amaro to make the kick off. 52 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Poiares FC's Gustavo Guarda fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Alexandre Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes Rabacos got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Freitas. Jorge Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. José Assunção came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Rabacos's Jorge Anjos. But to his dismay, Jorge Anjos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Rabacos's zone, Rui Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Pinheiro came out of the goal and Rui Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Humberto Freitas could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which José Assunção however easily saved by the left post. If Gustavo Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Assunção showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Leão in the 84th minute of the match. Humberto Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Anjoss short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got José Assunção to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jorge Anjos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 92nd playminute. Rabacos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
