Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Louzoes's Nuno Trindade started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Vítor Teixeira notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Gorjao's Hugo Fonseca. Hugo Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sérgio Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gorjao getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lúcio Pinheiro hit a great ball. Vítor Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Hugo Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Louzoes. Vítor Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Brás in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Luís Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Louzoes's Vítor Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Leiria in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Gorjao defense, Vítor Teixeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Fonseca. The Gorjao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Fonseca should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute of the match Miguel Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Fonseca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Lúcio Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gorjao's protests and gave Lúcio Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gorjao getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lúcio Pinheiro hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Sandro Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Fonseca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gorjao's zone, Vítor Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Fonseca came out of the goal and Vítor Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorjao's Hugo Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Gorjao from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Vítor Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Louzoes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Hugo Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Trindade in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Miguel Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 played minutes, Gorjao's Fernando Guerreiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vítor Garcia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gorjao reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57th minute, Vítor Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vítor Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hugo Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Garcia made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Sérgio Brás sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Gorjao booed when SC Louzoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
