Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tala's Albertino Gonçalves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Tala's Albertino Gonçalves in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tiago Nascimento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Teixeira. Alfocheira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gil Macedo scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paredes in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Tala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Leão to maneuver through the defense. Luís Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Gueifão having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Alfocheira's Luís Paredes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Gueifão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jaime Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Manuel Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Alfocheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Leão to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Gil Macedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Teixeira. Alfocheira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Macedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After having played for 44 minutes, Gil Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albertino Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Humberto Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Heitor Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tala's protests and gave Heitor Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. Heitor Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Humberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Macedo in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gil Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tala's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Macedo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Teixeira saved Alfocheira from getting behind. Albertino Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Humberto Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Albertino Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1.
