After 3 played minutes Pouve got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Santos. Luís Paredes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Júlio Matias came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Paredes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pouve's goalkeeper Júlio Matias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Vítor Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Paredes struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Júlio Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alfocheira. 18 minutes into the match, Pouve's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paredes came free, but Júlio Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Pedroso was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Alfocheira's zone, Gabriel Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Teixeira came out of the goal and Gabriel Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Teixeira having to interfere. The supporters of Alfocheira booed when Pouve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Luís Paredes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Matias. Pouve's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Paredes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
