Corroios's André Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Corroios from getting a goal against them. 5 minutes into the match, Luís Costa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Corroios's André Nascimento. André Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Carvalho in the 11th minute of play forced SC Cubas's goalkeeper Tomás Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Nascimento having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Corroios's goalkeeper André Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lourenço Brás. After 20 played minutes Corroios got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Cabral. After 30 played minutes Corroios got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Cabral. Sandro Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Andrade having to interfere. Duarte Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. André Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, António Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corroios and the SC Cubas players grew even worse after the yellow card. António Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Lourenço Brás hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Tomás Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Carvalho in the 49th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duarte Moura made a kick off. Sandro Lopes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 68 minutes, Duarte Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cubas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Lopes in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filipe Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Lopes in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Henrique Bessa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Andrade skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cubas's goalkeeper Tomás Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the last second Tomás Andrade throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sandro Lopes in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sandro Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Corroios players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Cubas.
