Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Abreu kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Diogo Sá had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delfim Vaz. Penude's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diogo Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 17 played minutes Penude got a freekick which was hit by David Aleixo. Delfim Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Sá in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Diogo Sá's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Vaz was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 28 played minutes Penude got a freekick which was hit by David Aleixo. After a defensive mix-up in Penude's zone, Diogo Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Vaz came out of the goal and Diogo Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delfim Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Bracos FC's Emílio Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Bracos FC from getting a goal against them. Diogo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Penude's Diogo Castro got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Bracos FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when André Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Penude getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. David Aleixo hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, one of Penude:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Penude. When the match had been going on for 67 minutes, Bracos FC's Cristiano Marques got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Delfim Vaz. Diogo Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Vaz having to interfere. Afonso Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, one of Penude:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When André Barbosa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emílio Amaro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 90 played minutes Penude got a freekick which was hit by Oliveira Nogueira. Diogo Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Delfim Vaz made a huge save. Delfim Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Abreu in the 93rd minute of the match. Bracos FC's Afonso Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bracos FC's Adelino Mota in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penude's goalie prevented a goal. If Diogo Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 102nd minute Diogo Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Bracos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Penude throughout the match.
