Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diamantino Veiga got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Brito during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Nuno Cabral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Resende. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Alberto Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bruno Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Neves in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruno Resende, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. José Neves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Bruno Resende skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36th minute, Diamantino Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cantomil FC's Artur Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Fernandes in the 38th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Cantomil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Fernandes came free, but Artur Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Cantomil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Sá to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Setúbal's late challenge caught a Cantomil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Setúbal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Donoes getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vicente Setúbal hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Donoes's zone, Nuno Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Resende came out of the goal and Nuno Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cantomil FC booed when SC Donoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Donoes's Alberto Fernandes got a free kick in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Neves in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Resende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of SC Donoes booed when Cantomil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Fernandes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Artur Matias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Júlio Brito was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Bruno Resende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cantomil FC's Artur Matias got control of the ball when Alberto Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st match minute, SC Donoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. If Nuno Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
