Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Andrade kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Luís Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luís Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Faro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Artur Matias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Luís Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Matias was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Nuno Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cantomil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 22nd minute José Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Amaro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Sandro Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nuno Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Luís Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sandro Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Cantomil FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Cabral was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Regateiros FC booed when Cantomil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Neves struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Sandro Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cantomil FC. José Neves came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sandro Melo could save by the left post. Luís Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Matias having to make a save. When Regateiros FC's Luís Andrade in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cantomil FC's goalie prevented a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Cantomil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Andrade came free, but Artur Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cantomil FC's Miguel Setúbal got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cantomil FC's zone, Bruno Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Matias came out of the goal and Bruno Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Matias came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Regateiros FC's Luís Andrade. But to his dismay, Luís Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 95 minutes into the match, José Neves notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Regateiros FC's Sandro Melo. Sandro Melo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Regateiros FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cantomil FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
