Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simão Carvalho started the match with the kick off. Óscar Borba was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Estribeiro FC's Joel Rodrigues got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gil Macedo. António Viegas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Macedo having to make a save. After 10th play minutes Amílcar Sá shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Gil Macedo and just under the crossbar into goal. Alberto Borba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Macedo having to make a save. Pedro Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estribeiro FC's Fábio Almeida suffered a sore thigh after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Filipe Sá fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachopos's protests and gave Filipe Sá a yellow card for diving instead. Gil Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Viegas in the 22nd minute. Filipe Sá hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Pedro Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Oliveira in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Borba saved Estribeiro FC from getting behind. Ricardo Resende hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Cristiano Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Pedro Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cachopos booed when Estribeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Borba didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filipe Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Cristiano Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachopos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when António Viegas made the kick off in the second half. Gil Macedo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Estribeiro FC's António Viegas. But to his dismay, António Viegas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gil Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from António Viegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cristiano Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pedro Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. António Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gil Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, António Viegas put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gil Macedo. Cristiano Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pedro Borba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Estribeiro FC's Pedro Borba got control of the ball when Cristiano Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the game Basílio Guerreiro kicked a great long shot which passed Pedro Borba straight ahead into the goal, Result 5-1. One couldn't see Basílio Guerreiro behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Gil Macedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Viegas's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Borba in the 96th minute of play forced Cachopos's goalkeeper Gil Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Estribeiro FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
