SC Benfarras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hugo Paredes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Francisco Cabral made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Xavier Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes of play, SC Benfarras's Hugo Paredes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Cabral was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Magalhães having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, André Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th match minute, SC Benfarras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Resende to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes, Beca FC's Óscar Resende shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tomás Magalhães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beca FC reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Moutinho was the one to do the kick off. Joaquim Jesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Francisco Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Moutinho couldn't finish the play. Henrique Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Aguiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henrique Aguiar hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Hugo Paredes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Francisco Cabral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquim Jesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Tomás Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Benfarras fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beca FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
