Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Henriques took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Henrique Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Henriques in the 9th minute of the match. Sérgio Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes, Gonçalo Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciboes and the Donoes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gonçalo Alves hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Jorge Henriques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Freitas. Ciboes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Henriques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Manuel Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Amadeu Borba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciboes. After having played for 26 minutes, José Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciboes's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Resende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ciboes getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Emílio Maia hit a great ball. Amadeu Borba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the game, Manuel Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeu Borba. Manuel Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Manuel Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Borba having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Resende got free with Amadeu Borba in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Manuel Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ciboes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Carvalho couldn't finish the play.
The wind increased when Manuel Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Borba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Resende in the 51st minute of play. José Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes Donoes FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Ribeiro. Donoes FC's Amadeu Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Resende in the 59th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Sérgio Freitas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 62 minutes in the game, Jorge Henriques fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sérgio Freitas having to interfere. In the 67th minute, José Resende left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciboes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Hugo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeu Borba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Monteiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Freitas having to make a save. If Hugo Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jorge Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Donoes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Henriques couldn't finish the play. Manuel Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciboes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
