Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Trindade started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Domingues in the 8th minute of play forced Outeirais FC's goalkeeper Pedro Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Pedro Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Outeirais FC's Catarino Antunes got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Lopes in the 14th minute of play forced Outeirais FC's goalkeeper Pedro Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nuno Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alberto Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Outeirais FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Trindade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, José Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Artur Dantas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alberto Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Simões fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espinhal FC's protests and gave José Simões a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, José Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alberto Trindade came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Outeirais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Trindade couldn't finish the play. Oliveira Antunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliveira Antunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Oliveira Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Trindade struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Artur Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Outeirais FC. 45 minutes into the match, Espinhal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Trindade came free, but Artur Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espinhal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Alberto Trindade scored to the left of an out of position Artur Dantas, making the score, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Dantas having to interfere. If Alberto Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Domingues in the 60th minute of play forced Outeirais FC's goalkeeper Pedro Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliveira Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oliveira Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Trindade scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artur Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Ricardo Faria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Outeirais FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espinhal FC the free kick. Ricardo Faria hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Pedro Araújo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Lopes went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Alberto Trindade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Dantas having to make a save. Cláudio Borba hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Oliveira Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Artur Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Dantas came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Outeirais FC's Alberto Trindade. But to his dismay, Alberto Trindade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Espinhal FC's Nuno Domingues in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Outeirais FC's goalie prevented a goal. 98 minutes into the match, Outeirais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Domingues came free, but Pedro Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espinhal FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
