Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Heitor Fontes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Heitor Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Viegas having to interfere. If Gonçalo Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Costa's late challenge caught a Coval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Costa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Sosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Costa to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Heitor Fontes in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Heitor Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Carlos Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Coval booed when Sosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sosa FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Sosa FC's Basílio Brás looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filipe Costa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, one of Sosa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sosa FC. In the 32nd minute, Heitor Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonçalo Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Carlos Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eusébio Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Basílio Brás put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Armindo Pinheiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Leite in the 44th minute of play forced Coval's goalkeeper Armindo Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Leite to make the kick off. Eusébio Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Armindo Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Coval's zone, Basílio Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Pinheiro came out of the goal and Basílio Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Coval's Alfredo Monteiro got a free kick in the 64th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Sosa FC's José Nunes tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Sosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heitor Fontes came free, but Carlos Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Heitor Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes of play Sosa FC's Filipe Costa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sosa FC's Filipe Costa got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Sosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Leite to maneuver through the defense.
