Consolacao's Rodrigo Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Consolacao from getting a goal against them. Alberto Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Heitor Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armindo Moniz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Barbosa. Fanhaes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Fanhaes's Humberto Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Fanhaes from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Armindo Moniz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fanhaes's Humberto Barbosa did a great save. 56 minutes into the match, Fanhaes's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Santos came free, but Humberto Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Nunes in the 74th minute. If Eusébio Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Vítor Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Vítor Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Torres was relentless in the 85th minute of the game.
