The tension between the SC Cantanhede and the Freguezia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes SC Cantanhede got a freekick which was hit by António Fontes. Manuel Leal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cantanhede's zone, Gabriel Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Leal came out of the goal and Gabriel Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 minutes of play, SC Cantanhede's Miguel Soares made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardo Antunes's late challenge caught a Freguezia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Cantanhede's Ricardo Antunes got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Delgado in the 84th minute of play forced SC Cantanhede's goalkeeper Manuel Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes of play, Freguezia FC's Sérgio Delgado made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
