Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luís Jesus got the match started through his kick off. Mangide FC's Alexandre Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Borba in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of Mangide FC booed when Canada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliveira Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mangide FC's zone, Cristóvão Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Resende came out of the goal and Cristóvão Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristóvão Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandre Resende having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Pires got free with Armando Barros in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mangide FC's Afonso Brito got a free kick in the 49th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mangide FC's zone, Cristóvão Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Resende came out of the goal and Cristóvão Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Vieira to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Pires in the 55th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Alexandre Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Barros having to interfere. Armando Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69thth minute of the game Cristóvão Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mangide FC's Alexandre Resende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandre Resende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fábio Borba in the 73rd minute. Alexandre Resende came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Canada's Fábio Borba. But to his dismay, Fábio Borba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Mangide FC booed when Canada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusébio Valente missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 81 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Armando Barros right hand side. Mangide FC's Luís Jesus got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Jesus in the 87th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Armando Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Canada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
