Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gonçalo Leiria kicked off to start the match. Diamantino Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Regatos booed when Alvaiade FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th match minute, Alvaiade FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Matos to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Regatos's Gonçalo Leiria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diamantino Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Regatos's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Porto came free, but Afonso Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luís Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Regatos's Paulo Morais got a free kick in the 64th minute. Afonso Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Castro in the 66th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Diamantino Castro put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Afonso Figueiredo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Porto in the 70th minute of play forced Regatos's goalkeeper Afonso Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaiade FC's Afonso Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Figueiredo having to interfere. Luís Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Carvalho in the 93rd minute.
