Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Setúbal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Setúbal in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cândido Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bento Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Carvalho having to interfere. Artur Valente's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Cândido Domingues skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 26th minute, Armando Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Nascimento in the 28th minute of play forced Abragao FC's goalkeeper Vicente Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Setúbal in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cândido Domingues saved Miomaes from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Artur Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abragao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Valente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Miomaes's goalkeeper Cândido Domingues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Valente. Alexandre Vale struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Vicente Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miomaes. Vicente Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Armando Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandre Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cândido Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Setúbal in the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Artur Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Abragao FC got a corner. Miomaes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Carneiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Abragao FC's Pedro Carneiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Cândido Domingues despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vicente Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Armando Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Abragao FC's Vicente Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Abragao FC from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Miomaes's Alexandre Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Abragao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Vale came free, but Vicente Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cândido Domingues came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Abragao FC's Carlos Setúbal. But to his dismay, Carlos Setúbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Artur Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cândido Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
