The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vítor Branco was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Codecoza getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. David Branco hit a great ball. Humberto Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the match, SC Enxabarda's goalkeeper Alexandre Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Azevedo. 70 minutes into the game, Carlos Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Enxabarda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Codecoza the free kick. After 70 played minutes SC Enxabarda got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Correia. Humberto Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Branco in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Enxabarda's goalkeeper Alexandre Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Codecoza getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cláudio Paiva hit a great ball. Filipe Esteves, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 86 minutes of play, SC Enxabarda's Vítor Branco made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vítor Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Xavier Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Enxabarda fans cheered their team off the field, for while Codecoza had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
