Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Jaime Machado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristóvão Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gaspar Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Catarino Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fernando Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Catarino Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Santos having to interfere. Jaime Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Catarino Santos having to make a save. José Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Gaspar Magalhães made a huge save. Cristóvão Soares struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gaspar Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brinches FC. With a little luck, Pinhel's Gaspar Magalhães got control of the ball when José Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brinches FC's José Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristóvão Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Santos came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinhel's Jaime Machado. But to his dismay, Jaime Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Cristóvão Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, José Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brinches FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Pinhel were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Pinhel's Artur Anjos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Cristóvão Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Pinhel's goal looked a bit too open when José Fonseca came free, but Gaspar Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinhel's Gaspar Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Fonseca in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Jaime Machado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brinches FC's Catarino Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernando Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Santos having to interfere. A collision led to Brinches FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bento Branco hit a great ball. Pinhel's Fernando Coimbra got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Brinches FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Amaral. When Fernando Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Pinhel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Coimbra couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Coimbra got free with Catarino Santos in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 minutes, Cristóvão Soares made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pinhel's Gaspar Magalhães tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Catarino Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Machado in the 96th minute of play forced Brinches FC's goalkeeper Catarino Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pinhel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Brinches FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
