Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pinhel's Jaime Machado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eusébio Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Machado in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Incenso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Jesus to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Jaime Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinhel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Incenso FC the free kick. In the 15th minute, Jaime Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Henrique Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Incenso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrique Moutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Incenso FC's Henrique Moutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrique Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Magalhães having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Incenso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Machado came free, but Eusébio Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrique Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Artur Anjos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Pinhel's Jaime Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusébio Henriques. That made the score 0-1 after 72 minutes of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Bruno Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Incenso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Bruno Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match, Jaime Machado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusébio Henriques saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 87 minutes into the match, Pinhel's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Moutinho came free, but Gaspar Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jaime Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 minutes, Vítor Jesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Incenso FC and the Pinhel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Jesus made a great header on Pinhel's corner, it was just that Incenso FC's Eusébio Henriques managed to reach the ball for a save.
