Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adelino Aguiar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carlos Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Trindade in the 4th minute of the match. Carlos Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Aguiar in the 6th minute of play. Carlos Sá struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Paulo Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapa FC. 11 minutes into the match, Chapa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Trindade came free, but Carlos Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Armando Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chapa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marrazes the free kick. Carlos Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Carlos Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Nascimento having to interfere. Adolfo Ferro charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Ferro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adolfo Ferro hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Marrazes's Carlos Trindade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Chapa FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Ferro. Carlos Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Ramos having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Chapa FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Cunha. Adelino Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Cruz took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Nascimento. Paulo Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tomás Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Carlos Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Pedro Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Chapa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Aguiar came free, but Carlos Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chapa FC's zone, Afonso Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Ramos came out of the goal and Afonso Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomás Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Marrazes's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Cruz came free, but Paulo Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Cunha in the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Marrazes booed when Chapa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marrazes's Adelino Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adelino Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Carlos Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Adelino Aguiar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Ramos. Adelino Aguiar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
