Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Pacheco in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Ramos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Silva in the 19th minute of play forced Chapa FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Adolfo Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gabriel Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Antunes having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Chapa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Sá to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chapa FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But to his dismay, Adolfo Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Carlos Sá made the kick off in the second half. Carlos Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Pacheco in the 51st minute of the match.
